Who is behind Father's Day?
Father's Day is from the United States, it was instituted by President Calvin Coolidge in 1910. The idea of setting up a Father's Day comes from Sonora Louise Smart Dodd whose mother had passed away. so is his father William Smart who raised his six children by himself. She made her first request in 1909. The first Father's Day celebration was held on June 19, 1910, in Washington State and some other states.
